【英文摘要】During the last three years, under the support of the state and administrative agencies, our innovative research group focused on the South Chian Sea and the west Pacific warm pool, carried out land-sea correlation research on sedimentary records, and obtained break-through progresses in the studies on tropical forcing of climate evolution, paleoceanography of the South China Sea and East Asian paleo-monsoon, and land-sea correlation of east Asia paleoenvironmental evolution: Around the tropical forcing hypothesis of climate changes especially in studies of tropical subsurface paleo-ocean and long-eccentricity changes in ocean carbon cycle, our research team proposed “global monsoon”, “tropical subsurface water” and other new concepts or new thinking. Clearly reflecting our own originality and innovation in the study of climate change mechanism; Compile a monograph on “The South China Sea: Paleoceanography and Sedimentology”, which was published by Springer, indicating our leading position in international research on paleoceanography of the South China Sea; Our group took up the thinking of sea-land integration and set the theme of “carving the history of East Asia’s East-Tilting Topography and East Asian Monsoon” for the first Chinese IODP full proposal in April 2007 and “Opening of the South China Sea and its implications for Southeast Asian tectonics since the Mesozoic” for the second Chinese IODP full proposal in September 2009, which have been highly appraised and regarded. In the last three years, our innovative research group published more than 100 papers in domestic and international academic journals, and helped the establishing of a main paleoenvironment research team with reasonable professional structure, cross-disciplinary integration, marine paleoenvironmental research as the priority, and emphasis on sea-land integration in the west Pacific region.
【中文摘要】近三年来,在国家和主管部门的支持下,本创新研究群体以南海和“西太平洋暖池”为重点,开展沉积记录的海陆对比研究,在气候演变的热带驱动、南海古海洋学与东亚古季风、以及东亚古环境演变的海陆沉积对比等研究方面取得了重要进展:围绕气候演变的热带驱动假说,提出“全球季风”、“热带次表层海水”等新概念或新思路,在气候环境演变的机制研究上具有原始创新性;由Springer出版社出版《The South China Sea: Paleoceanography and sedimentology》英文专著,说明在南海古海洋学研究上已处于国际前沿;围绕新生代东亚古环境演变,以“追索东亚地形东倾与季风演化历史”为主题,于2007年4月提交我国第一份IODP航次完整建议书,并于2009年9月提交中国第二份IODP航次完整建议书,获得国际学术界的高度评价和肯定。三年期间,本创新研究群体在国内外重要学术刊物上发表论文百余篇,并在人才队伍建设上取得突出成绩,形成了一支专业结构合理、学科交叉互补, 以海洋古环境研究为主、注重海陆结合的西太平洋地区古环境研究骨干队伍。
