【英文摘要】This project is focused on the environmental evolution history of china during the warm period which referred to the natural environmental background, environmental signature over the last 80ka. Especially we pay much attention to the study of environmental signature during the 25ka-80ka and the Holocene stage, and also reconstruct the evolution history of the southern margin of the desert zone since 20ka. As for the abrupt cooling events on the global warming background, we firstly detect the warming event at the end of the penultimate glacial period, which can be comparable to that of the last deglacialtion in the loess section. This result offers us the longer time scale natural environmental background for the knowledge of the last deglacialtion. We also stress on the records and spatial variability of the cold event such as YD episode in the loess strata during the last deglacialtion period, postulating that YD in the arid-semiarid region in northern China is punctuated by a brief period of summer monsoon precipitation on the base of the global cooling background, putting forward the ENSO modulation toward the precipitation of the arid-semiarid region based on the hypothesis of an ocean - atmosphere coupling mechanism. This character also can be used as a Historic Analogue for the predication of environmental change in the future. Based on tree-ring and modeling results, we discuss the global warming impact on the precipitation and the spatial variability of arid-semiarid zone of china and suggest that the Tibetan Plateau is a warning signal for the global warming .Moreover, we make the predication of the precipitation in the arid-semiarid region of china as follows: the precipitation of the northern china is to be at the highest level in 2003-2004 and then decreases gradually, it probably gets the lowest level in 2012-2014.
