Ni-MOFs as potential nanomedicines for thermoelectrocatalytic ROS-mediated antibacterial applications driven solely by physiological temperature gradients

Upon human body surface temperature differences, nickel-based metal–organic framework (Ni-MOF) thermoelectric nanoparticles generate reactive oxygen species (ROS). They show favorable biocompatibility and excellent antibacterial activity, highlighting great potential for treating antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections.
