A mineral lubricating oil composition compr: ajor amount of mineral lubricating oil and from 2% to about 5% of an oil-soluble bis(di-Ci_ losphonomethyl) disulfide.3. A mineral lubricating oil composition compr ajor amount of mineral lubricating oil and from 2% to about 5% of bis (dibutyl phosph on ometl tlfide.4. The composition of claim 3 containing from 05% to about 2% of l,l-bis(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hy renyl) methane.
