  • 权利要求: What is claimed is:1. A polyamino alkenyl or alkyl succinimide wherein one or more of the nitrogens of the polyamino moiety is substituted with ##STR30## wherein R.sub.4 is selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbyl of from 1 to 30 carbon atoms, --R.sub.5 (OH).sub.t wherein R.sub.5 is hydrocarbyl of from 2 to 20 carbon atoms and t is an integer from 1 to 6 with the proviso that there is no hydroxy substitution on the hydrocarbyl carbon atom attaching the --R.sub.5 (OH).sub.t group to the oxy atom of the ##STR31## moiety and with the further proviso than when t is greater than one, the hydroxy groups are not attached to the same carbon atom and the number of carbon atoms in the R.sub.5 group is minimally equal to t+1, and --(R.sub.7 O).sub.s H wherein R.sub.7 is alkylene of from 2 to 5 carbon atoms and s is an integer from 2 to 100.2. A polyamino alkenyl or alkyl succinimide of claim 1 wherein R.sub.4 is hydrocarbyl of from 1 to 30 carbon atoms.3. A polyamino alkenyl or alkyl succinimide of claim 2 wherein R.sub.4 is hydrocarbyl of from 2 to 10 carbon atoms.4. A polyamino alkenyl or alkyl succinimide of claim 3 wherein R.sub.4 is hydrocarbyl of from 2 to 7 carbon atoms.5. A polyamino alkenyl or alkyl succinimide of claim 1 wherein R.sub.4 is --R.sub.5 (OH).sub.t wherein R.sub.5 is hydrocarbyl of from 2 to 20 carbon atoms and t is an integer from 1 to 6 with the proviso that there is no hydroxy substitution on the hydrocarbyl carbon atoms attaching the --R.sub.5 (OH).sub.t group to the oxy atom of the ##STR32## moiety and with the further proviso that when t is greater than one, the hydroxy groups are not attached to the same carbon atom and the number of carbon atoms in the R.sub.5 group is minimally equal to t+1.6. A polyamino alkenyl or alkyl succinimide of claim 5 wherein R.sub.5 is hydrocarbyl of from 2 to 10 carbon atoms.7. A polyamino alkenyl or alkyl succinimide of claim 6 wherein t is 1.8. A polyamino alkenyl or alkyl succinimide of claim 5 where --R.sub.5 (OH).sub.t is hydroxyethylene (--CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 OH).9. A polyamino alkenyl or alkyl succinimide of claim 1 wherein R.sub.4 is --(R.sub.7 O).sub.s H wherein R.sub.7 is alkylene of from 2 to 5 carbon atoms and s is an integer of from 2 to 100.10. A polyamino alkenyl or alkyl succinimide of claim 9 wherein s is an integer from 2 to 30.11. A polyamino alkenyl or alkyl succinimide of claim 10 wherein s is an integer from 2 to 20.12. A compound of the formula ##STR33## wherein R is alkenyl or alkyl of from 10 to 300 carbon atoms; R.sub.2 is alkylene of from 2 to 10 carbon atoms; a is an integer from 1 to 6; R.sub.10 is hydrogen, lower alkyl of from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, lower hydroxy alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and ##STR34## wherein R.sub.4 is selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbyl of from 1 to 30 carbon atoms, --R.sub.5 (OH).sub.t wherein R.sub.5 is hydrocarbyl of from 2 to 20 carbon atoms and t is an integer from 1 to 6 with the proviso that there is no hydroxy substitution on the hydrocarbyl carbon atom attaching the --R.sub.5 (OH).sub.t group to the oxy atom of the ##STR35## and with the further proviso that when t is greater than one, the hydroxy groups are not attached to the same carbon atom and the number of carbon atoms in the R.sub.5 group is minimally equal to t+1, and --(R.sub.7 O).sub.s H wherein R.sub.7 is alkylene of 2 to 5 carbon atoms and s is an integer from 2 to 100; and T is ##STR36## or --NHR.sub.10 wherein R and R.sub.10 are as defined above with the proviso that at least one of R.sub.10 is ##STR37##13. A compound of the formula defined in claim 5 wherein R is alkenyl or alkyl of from 20 to 300 carbon atoms.14. A compound of the formula defined in claim 13 wherein R is alkenyl or alkyl of from 20 to 100 carbon atoms.15. A compound of the formula defined in claim 14 wherein R.sub.4 is hydrocarbyl of from 1 to 30 carbon atoms.16. A compound of the formula defined in claim 15 wherein R.sub.4 is hydrocarbyl of from 2 to 10 carbon atoms.17. A compound of the formula defined in claim 16 wherein R.sub.4 is hydrocarbyl of from 2 to 7 carbon atoms.18. A compound of the formula defined in claim 14 wherein R.sub.4 is --R.sub.5 (OH).sub.t wherein R.sub.5 is hydrocarbyl of from 2 to 20 carbon atoms and t is an integer from 1 to 6 with the proviso that there is no hydroxy substitution on the hydrocarbyl carbon atom attaching the --R.sub.5 (OH).sub.t group to the oxy atom of the ##STR38## moiety and with the further proviso that when t is greater than one, the hydroxy groups are not attached to the same carbon atom and the number of carbon atoms in the R.sub.5 group is minimally equal to t+1.19. A compound of the formula defined in claim 18 wherein R.sub.5 is hydrocarbyl of from 2 to 10 carbon atoms.20. A compound of the formula defined in claim 19 wherein t is 1.21. A compound of the formula defined in claim 18 wherein --R.sub.5 (OH).sub.t is hydroxyethylene (e.g., --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 OH).22. A compound of the formula defined in claim 14 wherein R.sub.4 is (R.sub.7 O).sub.s H wherein R.sub.7 is alkylene of from 2 to 5 carbon atoms and s is an integer of from 2 to 100.23. A compound of the formula defined in claim 22 wherein s is an integer of from 2 to 30.24. A compound of the formula defined in claim 23 wherein s is an integer of from 2 to 20.25. A lubricating oil composition comprising an oil of lubricating viscosity and a dispersant effective amount of a compound as defined in claim 1.26. A lubricating oil composition comprising an oil of lubricating viscosity and a dispersant effective amount of a compound of the formula defined in claim 14.27. A lubricating oil concentrate comprising 90 to 10 weight percent of an oil of lubricating viscosity and 10 to 90 weight percent of a compound as defined in claim 1.28. A lubricating oil concentrate comprising 90 to 10 weight percent of an oil of lubricating viscosity and 10 to 90 weight percent of a compound of the formula defined in claim 14.
